EWSC Survey Report: Medical Procedures and Personal Care in Saskatchewan Schools
This report presents the findings of a province-wide survey of 980 Saskatchewan education support workers on medical procedures, personal care responsibilities, training, workplace safety, and liability concerns. Conducted by CUPE Saskatchewan’s Education Workers’ Steering Committee (EWSC), the survey highlights the growing complexity of support staff roles and provides recommendations to improve training, safety, and support for workers and students alike.
